Gabriella had watched the minutes tick by slowly, like they were mocking her with each long anticipated 'tick' & 'tock'. That's why she was so glad when the bell finally rang. She grabbed her things before heading home. She didn't know why, but she really wanted to get home as fast as possible tonight. It was probably because it was pouring down with rain outside & she hated rain.
It took the brunette about fifteen minutes to walk home, all the way she'd been listening to her music. A mix of rock and pop, sometimes she'd listen to alternative but not today. She just wanted to listen to music that would get her all the way home, trying to take her mind off the rain. As she opened the door, she wiped her feet on the door mat & took off her heels. Her hair was extremely wet, she could feel it dripping down her back. Gabriella took off her bag & jacket, hanging them on the coat hangers which were placed next to the door way. "I'm Home!" She called, just to let her parents know. After all, it was a big house & they probably hadn't even heard the door opening.

Quinn had been whizzing around the kitchen tidying it up and getting a few ingredients out for dinner when she heard Gabriella come in. She had been worried about both her children as it was raining outside and they both had to get home from school. "I'm in the kitchen, hunny!" Quinn yelled back when she heard Gabriella come in.
"This is me talking to you."
so you better listen when i talk to you! haha kidding of course.

"Okay" The brunette called from the hallway, as she wandered through the living room toward their way-to-big kitchen. Then, she rounded the corner & saw her mother preparing tea. Obviously her brother wasn't home yet, because if he was he'd be waiting at the table to be fed like some sort of domesticated animal. Well, he'd either be there or be following her, trying his hardest to get on her nerves.
She leant against the door frame, watching the blonde cook. "Want any help?" Gabriella asked, hoping there was something for her to do because she didn't just want to stand there looking like a complete bitch for not even offering to help. Plus, if her mother said yes of course the brunette would help. She always helped people, though by help sometimes it was just people asking for answers to questions in class. Not that she gave them any correct answers, why should she?

Quinn got some pasta out of the cupboard and but it on the counter. She got a pan out of the cupboard across the kitchen and carried it to the sink. She put a reasonable amount of water in and put it on the cooker for later. Quinn spun around when she heard Gabriella come in. She took in her wet clothes and hair before replying, "Sure, but you should get changed first."

"Your probably right" Gabriella smiled, before turning around & heading back through the house & up to her bedroom. As she wandered across the hallway, about to head up the stairs her brother walked through the door. She ignored him, even though he flicked water at her as she passed.
When she was upstairs she quickly got changed & then, dried her hair. It turned curlier then it had been of course, that was another reason why she hated rain. It messed everything up. So, she quickly put it up in a lose pony tail before heading back downstairs. She could hear her brother in his room, on the phone to some of his friends like usual. Well, at least he was out of her hair.
The brunette waltzed down the stairs, smiling at her father who was in the living room watching some football match. Then, she headed into the kitchen again.
